Can't trade in Historical Mode
 

I'm still getting the error of not being able to trade in historical mode because "______hasn't been with us very long", even though I use Steam and have all the latest updates that were supposed to fix this....

With everyone? With the newest update? If I player was recently drafted or signed, often teams won't move them. That's not a bug. If it's everyone, then please let us know.



Edit: I just fired up my copy of FHM2, started a new Historical Game as the 83 Oilers and had no problem making a trade in the first 4 days. It seems likely that either the issue in the one listed above.

Nope, it is with everyone. I'm not sure why.

Perhaps there is an issue with your save. You may be best to start over then.

Only problem is I started the save months ago, and I'm about 20 years in.

This was a bug with an earlier version (iirc there was a hotfix weeks ago).
Have you installed the newest version already?

Yes I have, and in other historical modes I have going trading does work, it only doesn't work in this particular save.

It's probably the "we recommend that you start a new save" clause that you see with most patches.

Can you upload the save (only the dat files) to our FTP server, we will fix the save for you. If you need more guidance, just let me know.

If I did it correctly, it should be in the server titled "Historical Can't Trade.zip"

Don't mean to be rude, but I am just wondering if anybody ever took a look at the file. No worries if you didn't, I'm just not sure what happens next if it does get fixed.

I'm not sure whether or not Sebastian got it fixed, but I'll see if I can find out. He did promise to see if he could make the manual adjustments for your game.

I have looked into the save but I can't reproduce the problem. I have made several trades without a problem. Can you give me the name of some players that can't be traded?

All the data for the teams except Montreal and Toronto has disappeared. Not sure what's going on now, the save is completed messed up...
