All time records
in the perfect leagues, how do I find the all-time records for players.
example, my babe Ruth has 765 home runs in perfect league (poor batting avg. sadly)... does anyone else have someone with 765+ HRs in perfect league play? How about pitcher wins? I see the Walter Johnson's around 30-35 wins every year. people who do the relief pitcher thing can get 40-45 wins in a season for one pitcher. Just wondering what are the records? Are the kept somewhere? |
I don't think there are any career numbers listed anywhere. It would be nice if there was.
Regarding the 40-something wins thing, only 2 of us have got that plan figured out and have the roster to execute on it. I have a good shot at 50 wins this season. My Walter at 35 right now. I chat with the record holder all the time. We've got a technique we've co-developed over the past few seasons as we've been chasing lots of the records. I have many of the offensive team records already, so shooting for defensive now. |
I may have figured it out also. I have a shot at 40+ wins with a pitcher. :)
I'm at 35 now. (however, I don't have the staff so it is going to be close). I can't figure out 50 (Hops, you have BC in your league; they are pretty tough). |

Nice work. You took #4. Below is the list with the long-standing record at the bottom. There's 2 by me beyond that, the one by you, and the rest are all user dvanhout with his 3 teams. He hit 47 last season while being on a business trip. I'm not taking a shot at beating my 50 this season.
