Hi guys,

I'm the one who is in charge of Elitserien. We were lucky to get it in the beta, which means it hasn't really been properly tested yet, so every little thing helps.

I want to ask you to be as thorough as possible when posting data issues. If you think someone is under- or overperforming, please post their full stats, including average time on ice per game, power play stats etc. The more you post, the easier it will be for me to troubleshoot.

If you find that someone has the wrong height, weight, birth date etc, please post a link or two to support your claims.

Things I already know:
- Staff members are currently missing, I will be working on this and it won't be too long, hopefully.
- Jersey numbers are not 100% correct, I'm on it. Fixed
- You can only call up certain J20 players. It'll be fixed :-) Fixed
- No contracts are set, nothing I can do about it at the moment but it will be fixed in the future. Fixed

Allsvenskan and J20 are very much a work in progress, for Allsvenskan you should talk to Vikke and/or Carladamlowe.

Thanks,
Nikki

So no one is researching Get-ligaen? That's a shame. I would have loved to have done it, but I don't know a thing about the players. :(

JonasAahlstroem 03-05-2013 01:54 AM

There are two Anton Karlsson in Frölunda HC J20.

joehelmer 03-05-2013 02:30 AM

There are two Christoffer Rifalk in Luleå HF J20.

Vikke 03-05-2013 03:13 AM

Those are most likely due to the players appearing on both the SEL and J20 rosters when created. Thanks, guys, keep it coming. :)

Nikki Nine 03-05-2013 05:25 AM

Yeah, a lot of the junior players are duplicate. I'll go through them whenever I get the chance, but please list anyone you see as I might miss someone :)

Ichor 03-05-2013 07:14 AM

Richard Lintner (Rögle BK) is listed as LW, should be D.

Salcin 03-05-2013 07:46 AM

Anyone doing Division 1 or you need help on those?

Vikke 03-05-2013 07:58 AM

I'm doing it along with Allsvenskan, but I could probably use some help with A-D, as I live in southern Sweden and only watch E & F. Send me a PM. :)

The attendence of Frölundas games is to low. I'm just a few games in but the attendence is between 6,1k and 6,8k. In real the attendence has an average of 8,6k.
Average against the teams in SEL seperately.

Edit: Linköping HC is shortend as "LIK", should be "LHC".
Edit2: Ari Wallin in Färjestad is a LW in the game, defender IRL.
Edit3: There are two Dean Kukan in Luleå, two Sam Marklund in Skellefteå, two Anton Wedin and two Jeremy Boyce (one C and one LW) in Timrå, two Oskar Lindblom in Brynäs and two David Lillieström Karlsson in AIK.
Niklas Folin and Andreas Öhrnberg are not a part of Frölunda J20, Folin is playing for Omaha Lancers and Öhrnberg is playing for Varberg HK.

Vikke 03-06-2013 09:04 AM

The LHC abbrevation is fixed, it was a bug in the editor causing the game to use the wrong abbrevation. :)

Not sure how updated Allsvenskan is, but here are just some of the needed Malmö Redhawks corrections:

Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre is in Karlskrona.
R.J. Anderson is in Vålerenga.
Viktor Holmqvist is in Kristianstad.
Nicolai Meyer is in Frederikshavn.
Philip Hersby is set as RW, should be D.
Tomas Kollar is set as LW, should be C.
Alexander Bergström is set as LW, should be C.
The J20 is just an absolute mess. (Meyer is double).

Rosters are pretty outdated. From start of the season or so. Me and CarlAdamLowe vill go through the rosters, setting abilities etc in the upcoming few weeks.

Updated my first post in this thread (#2). Everything Elitserien related in this thread has also been fixed up until this post. Thanks for your help guys, it really is invaluable. Keep it coming :)

We have a problem with duplicate players and we hope to get a tool for finding them, but until we do, please post any duplicate players you find in this thread.

Some feedback:

I simmed a season with Rögle (no intervention). Most teams finished about where they did IRL, which is always a good sign. HV71 finished 1st with 101 pts. Skellefteå finished 5th with 88 pts. Växjö topped the league for a good part of the season but finally settled for 8th.

Färjestad have been dead last almost from beginning to end, though. Chris Lee was 1+18 in 46 games. Marcus Paulsson was 12+12 in 46 games. The team didn't really have more injuries than the others...

Meanwhile, Rögle managed a mid-table finish with 82 pts and won the Le-Mat Trophy... I found the league to be more balanced in the game than in real life, there was 34 points between HV71 (1st) and Färjestad; that's half the IRL difference.

Scoring level compared to real life, which is good, too. No one reached 60 points though and the top scorers were similar as IRL, with Dennis Rasmussen and Oscar Möller faring noticeably better.

A few very little things I noticed:

- Chris Lee (Färjestad) is listed as RD on the SEL website;
- Daniel Bellissimo (Timrå) should be dual national Canadian and Italian;
- Žiga Pavlin (Rögle) spells his first name with a Ž;
- Edgars Kļaviņš (AIK) spells his name wih a few accents.

Overall, good work so far guys, keep it up!

Nikki Nine 03-07-2013 04:24 AM

Thanks, great feedback.

Would you mind simming another season when you get the chance? Färjestad troubles me - Lee and Paulsson is their two top ranked offensive players so they should produce more, and Färjestad should obviously be a top ranked team.
