More manager personality differences

I love the depth to which player personalities are simulated, and how that affects the clubhouse chemistry which in turn affects player performance.

But managers, whose value is much more about personality than players' value is, are one of five personalities, one of which is just "Normal." That should go a lot deeper. Strategies vary a lot more of course, but I'm talking personalities.

A [I]start[I], though I'd rather see more depth than this, would be to have scales representing two dimensions, which would basically be one that was Personable vs. Controlling and another Easygoing vs. Temperamental. I don't know if each of those are supposed to be opposites, but they pretty much are.

Personable tries to improve the clubhouse atmosphere through being likable, whereas Controlling does it through rules and discipline.

Easygoing vs. Temperamental, is opposite on emotionality. The Easygoing manager doesn't let emotions affect him, so doesn't rock a boat that's working, and is good if things are good. Temperamental is an emotional leader, rocks the boat, might sometimes mess up morale but also might fix things. The Easygoing manager is better if the clubhouse is working well on its own; the Temperamental manager gets people riled up and maybe scared, but also helps get emotions invested in the game, which might motivate improvement-- but might cause drama that wouldn't otherwise exist.

So...have two scales, 0-200. Neither is always better, each is better for certain situations-- or even just a slider for each between Personable/Controlling and Easygoing/Temperamental. The only way someone is "Normal" is near the middle on both scales. And yes, one could be high on Personable and high on Temperamental-- the emotional leader who focuses on the positive (I'd say Lasorda was like that). Or Controlling/Easygoing, who makes strict rules to be followed but is calm about it.

I'd actually like to see more variables, but at least that would be a start.
