3D ballparks with new signs
 

I have modified the all the current ballparks in OOTP17 by adding new signs. I did this using the .wep files. I can't modify the obj files as I do not have the software or knowledge to do that. Here are a couple of examples of what I did. These files replace the 3D ball park graphic files with ones with more realistic signs in the ball parks.
All the parks have been re-signed except the Marlins Park. I could not replace sign in that park because the modifications would cause black squares around the statue behind the center field wall. I replaced the signs for the Great American Ball Park (Reds) but could not add a graphic to the big screen behind the left field wall because of a problem in the 3D obj file which I could not resolve. I also could not put signs on the KC outfield wall because they are not in the wep files.
I did not change all the signs. Only those that can be seen when playing a game use a 3D Park.
I just tried uploading my revised models folder to the OOTPMods page but couldn't get it to work. When I get that resolved I will post it here.

Yes, they don't have wep files. I was going to add signs to your Shibe park but couldn't because of that. I only play historical games. So if anyone comes up with historical 3D parks, I will modify them as time permits. It is tedious and I don't think the same person formatted all the current parks as I can see big differences in the wep files. I appreciate your comments. Thanks. Is you want them whilst I am waiting to get them on the mods page, I can send them to you via email but it is a large file.

I think I figured out how to fix it. :)

Are you talking about the park that comes with the game, oco or Silvam Oakland Colosseum park? I only modified the signs on oco and haven't done anything yet with Silvam's Oakland. Both work fine here.

I just looked at the instructions in game that I sent you to and noticed they are WRONG!

you are supposed to click on home and press 1, first, 2 and third, 3. This explains why it was lining up home with first

I'm not sure if it's the original 3D park or after I used your mod. I'm guessing it's the original as I don't believe I've played a game in Oakland until recently.

I'll check again once I update with the patch before I add the mod.

Ok thanks.. if it's jacked up again I'll try these steps!

Installed the patch.. Oakland 3D stadium is fine, installed sign MOD and it was off center again.

Followed your directions and it's fixed!

I will have to see the possibilities when 18 is released. I would like to, if needed.
