Historical Player Imports

...Or the lack thereof. I've only once gotten this to work once and god, I wish I'd written down instructions. I've tried many times since and never gotten it to go like some castoff from 2K14 basketball. Is there a trick? I've tried just as its presented with no luck and I'd rather have this facility than not. Thank you, RonP

Click import Historical from the FA screen or Draft Pool screen. Select the historical database .ODB file from your OOTP 14 stats folder or the Master.cvs if using a Spritz DB (you may have to move the ODB file out of that folder then import then move it back when you are done, only for a sprtize dB)
Put the players ID in the box ruthba01 then the year you want to import from and then your other options. You can also make a text file using notepad and import several players at one time. The ID is the SHTML? from baseball ref if the player has periods in his name ignore the periods. A.J. Pierzynski is listed as Pierza.01 for OOTP it would be PierzAJ01 Same basic thing with A.J. Burnett
See if my SS's help
