Who's been your most profitable players?
Just curious... You can check how much PP they earned on the history tab.
Batter Lenny Dykstra SE 10,530 Run streak gave 1k, and 13x best fielder helped Pitcher Roy Halladay '10 AS 12,430 1 Perfecto for 5k, whatever 'Throw a Maddux is' done 4 times for 400 ech |
Batter: 100 George Brett 18,335
Pitcher: 100 Curt Schilling 40,705 (PotY 6x, AS 19x, PotM 23x, ERA Crown 5x) |
This could be a fun thread.
Batter 100 Boggs 17,900 Pitcher 100 Walter Johnson 26,095 |
Batter: 90 Sam Rice 24,330
Pitcher: 97 Newhouser 7,855 |
Batter: 100 DiMaggio 40,925
Pitcher: 100 Cy Young 82,060 |
Batter:Live Trout 15k (I have a Shoeless Joe who has earned more, but mostly for another team)
Pitcher: SE Smoky Joe Wood 10k (6500 from Great Game+Domination) Although looking through this, I think my worst performer per AB has to be Joe Cronin. 2000+ games started, 38 WAR, but only 960 PP total. Either him or SE Wade Davis, who has now been on my team for roughly 5 full seasons, 2.90 ERA, and has earned a grand total of 0 individual PP. I know relievers don't get a lot of points, but still, you'd think that at least once he would have stranded a bases loaded situation... |
Pitcher: Virginia's perfect Walter Johnson 94665 pts (15 POY, 5 Pitching triple crowns)
Batter: Santa Monica's perfect Ty Cobb 48045 pys (10 time league MVP) |
My 2 best performs are both from the Great Lakes Squirrels, and it's not a surprise since they have been with the team from day 1.
Pitcher: Perfect Pedro Martinez with 72375 points (10 times Pitcher of the Year, 3 Pitching Triple Crowns, 1 perfect game and 2 no hitters) Batter: 97 Nap Lojoie with 34700 points (6 times MVP) |
My Ruth (MVP 3 times) is about 29,005 and my Jack Clarkson (5 time PotY) is at 59,560. Gehrig, Koufax, Joe Jackson and Yelich are at 26K.
Disappointed in two of my stars, Hornsby & Arky. All are around 12K |

That would be Cy Young

My only thing noteworthy was Bob Feller earning me over 20k pp in one season, he very narrowly missed triple crown annoyingly:

Well, whoever that nameless bronze catcher card that dropped strike three for the four-strikeout inning achievement (in the entry pool!) is well on his way.
|
Chris Sale from my Denver Bears. Over 25K so far, includes 5 Rocket Games and a Hi Def Inning.
Lefty Gomez for the Trenton Minutemen. Over 19K, 5K for Great Game and 1500 for Domination. I think both fired a No Hitter. |
best I got
Ty Cobb 33,995 8 MVP 13 Best Hitter Cy Young 54,800 2 MVP 8 POY |
Hank Aaron 24k
Rodger Clemens 41k Christy Mathewson 22k Babe Ruth 24k Ted Williams 24k Honus Wagner 22k |
