I've always enjoyed doing these historical replays, both with random rookies and not.

What I would like to do now is set up a historical replay as far as the teams/players/expansion go...but have each year be in the same environment. A neutral one. I don't know if I need to pick just one year for this or if I can make something myself. That part I could probably figure out.

What I can't figure is how I have everything else progress historically...is this even possible to do?

Hopefully this makes sense. Basically what I want is to sim years 1900-present with the correct teams, players, etc. but have them all play in one environment.

People do this all the time. Keep the historical evolution on. Uncheck the financial and strategy options. I have one league that plays in 2019 but has 1956 for everything else. I have never bothered to change anything concerning this league.
