Experts say Toronto had a horrible off-season. What they aren't taking into account was new ownership's demands to be more fiscally responsible. The Jays shed A LOT of salary in the offseason and are poised to look good moving forward.

SPRING TRAINING BEGINS!

And... wow. David Price pitched five shut out innings but the big news came in the 9th when Robinson Cano, Stryker Trahan, D.J. Davis, and Max Muncy hit FOUR CONSECUTIVE HOME RUNS!

They led the Jays to a 9-4 win over the Tigers.

Devon Travis also homered for Toronto.

The biggest questions this Spring surround the bullpen... and there was some sloppy pitching today from the 'pen. Defense also was subpar, as the Jays made three errors.

Today was the opposite of yesterday. Today the starting pitcher struggled and the bullpen was on point.

Matt Olson reached based five times and scored twice as the Jay beat the Astros 10-4.

Jake Barrett left the game with a leg injury. We await word on his condition.

After having a rough outing last time, Jake Thompson bounced back, allowing only one hit in five innings against the White Sox. The big story was D.J. Davis, however, who went 3 for 3 with a triple shy of the cycle, a walk, and a pair of RBI.

The Jays beat the White Sox 12-2.

Mitch Haniger also homered.
