Uniform Collection for Childhood League
 

I have a made-up league that I started as a child

I modified some team names too fit them better as I grew older and knew more about teams and better nicknames

I did a history of the league in ootp 2009...

The history is that a NE-centered league built off of early success from 1951-1955 ... fans were coming to the ballparks, and backers from Atlantic City to Boston to New York provided the necessary funds....

In 1956, the league decided to add the Detroit & Chicago markets as well as connecting the league to the heart of the midwest from Chicago to New York in the form of Louisville

1956 is the official record keeping for the new league, the PBL

One thing that will be different than the ootp09 one, is that I am creating uniforms for each era team....

the league expands in the 60s an 70s and once a decade in the 80s-90s.00s.

Here is the original uniforms for my 1956 league

Not any changes in 1957

Only Boston & New York changed one part of their uniform set in 1958

Boston-home
New York-road

No changes in 1959

Steady changes will shortly begin, but these are not too interesting, yet

1960

The League expanded to 12 with 4 new teams (Indiana, St. Louis, Philadelphia, New Orleans)

Chicago and Detroit both made alterations to their unies

Is this league with real or fictional players?

Are these available for sharing anywhere? Any logos to go with them? If not, I bet you can get some made by the usual suspects. :D

But When I get into the 80s and 90s I will start making some players based off real ones...

Like Will Clark will be Cliff Wilkes, and Kevin Mitchell will be Kelvin Munro, Tim Wallach will be Trent Walbach, Kirby Puckett is Ken Purvis, Shane Mack is Shawn MacKey , etc.

I have some logos, but nothing consistent as far as style of logo... here are some I use

1961, Only St. Louis has an alteration, and Boston has added a colored undershirt to their road uni

1962

New York changed hme unies, as did Chicago, Boston made small adjustment on the inscription "Cannons"

1963

'63 is another expansion year, Memphis Hounds grew from a minor league team into a Major League team .... & Texas got its first team in the PBL, in Dallas, the Texas Bullets

The Lynx got a new home uni, Buffalo changed their whole uniform

I rushed this set ... Chicago, Providence, & Indiana had changes as well to their home sets

Repost 1963

1964 had zero changes

and here is the eastern coast league .....

Boston added green undershirt for home games (now matching away)

New York changed road uniforms

Philadelphia changed their home unies

St- Louis made wholesale design changes

1966 had some big changes .. Memphis dropped the Orange/Blue

Providence got rid of the messy stripes, and added a reddish cap

New Orleans got also new uniforms

Seems most teams no longer wear their originals, only Atlantic City, Louisville, and the new team Texas have not made changes yet

1966!! New York finally won one!!

I may be dense, but what I meant was a zip file or photo bucket when these nice jerseys could be DL'ed from for use by others.

1967 changes --- detroit home, Louisville changes original style., Texas also changes their first and only

1968 -- Philadelphia changes colors, New York adjusts road jersey, again

1969 has had many, many changes

Yes, these are very nice. Maybe when you get up to 2016, you can post a zip file on OOTPMODS. In the meantime, I will see if I can cajole someone into helping you with LOGOS. :D

Wow that Barons logo is a trainwreck.

I have one saved in 1969 .. just need to get it up ... holdays you know... easy to slip my mind
