Fictional Players with history
 

How would I go about setting up a league using fictional players but containing historical data? This way instead of having no previous season info for player stats etc. I would see what they've done in their career to the point i'm starting. Also I'd like there to be some historical records set. Ideally I'd like to have 100 yrs of data there and pick up a season in 2013 and play from there. Thank you in advance for any help.

Start your league the year in which you want your history to start and then sim until the year you want to take over.

I would create 2 managers in the game, 1 to use as a commissioner and 1 to use as your team. Do the simming with the commish and then switch over to the other one.

I tried to sim 100yrs but the sim kept stopping and giving me messages. I'm guessing because I was assigned as a manager and not using commissioner mode. I will try this tonight. Thank you for your help!

You can also just not take over a team and unselect all messages. Play in Commish mode. I resigned from my team on November 5th and did not take over another team until Febuary 15th. I had 3 messages and that was concerning the new league I created january 1st.
