When new version comes out

Plz let people know in a thread or this one soon as it's available. I'm excited and can't wait for the new one.

What new game

No new features (at least from what we know). Going to be the same game.

From the App description:

- 2017 Opening Day MLB rosters, including top prospects
- Beautiful new interface
- Improved AI for trading, roster building, contract negotiations and in-game management
- Improved league news and play-by-play text

Sebastian, do you think you guys could at least in an update just add more names to the generated player pool? I can't imagine this is a hard thing to do, I'd even be willing to create a list of names to add. I've always thought a lot of the American player names were for the most part very generic.

Because we only support Retina devices anymore (thank Apple that this is the only way to make this happen).

No mention of the highly anticipated "Owner Goals" feature?

Credit where credit's due: the new interface is very nice.

Regarding the lack of iOS 9 support, I wasn't aware that iOS 9 wouldn't work with Retina displays--it worked on my iPad Retina display quite nicely. Must be something else going on here.

iOS 9 runs on some devices without Retina. You can't restrict the use on just some devices, I know it is crazy but that is how Apple works.

Is it iOS 9 or is it the phone itself? Couldn't these users just download the new update for their iPhone?

Maybe I'm just out of touch since I have the 7, I figured at least iPhone 6's could upgrade to something beyond iOS 9

Is this a new rule? Seriously, I'm not trying to pick on you or anything. There are countless games, old, new and upcoming, that list devices that are compatible, not iOS's. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying there are no games or apps that restrict use to an iOS version. I'm just saying, that there are countless apps that list device compatibility. An example. Upcoming racing game. Grid Autosport. Restricts devices like iPod touch 6th gen, even though it's an iOS 10 device. Again, not trying to pick a fight. I know you've been dealing with some hostility. I'm really just curious.

Of course you can write anything you want but if people don't read it, we are the bad guys. If a device is not able to run iOS 10, it will most likley not run mlbm 2017 anyway.

That makes sense. I'm assuming the users most likely to be upset about this restriction, are jail breakers still on iOS 9. I'm on iOS 10, so I'm ready to play. I was just asking out of curiosity. Thanks for the response.

I think everyone with a modern Apple device should be able to update to iOS 10 (which is recommended by Apple anyway). So I donīt see a problem here. I tested on my iPad 3 (first iPad with Retina) with iOS 9 and the game was slow as hell.

Everyone who has not iOS 10, what devices do you guys have?

I don't like to backup everything:D:D anyway,I updated IOS10 for my iPad mini 2,and I enjoyed the game except the letter inside. The font is too small too.

Sebastian Palkowski 03-30-2017 08:56 AM

Looks like we will increase the font size a bit with the first update.
