Game crash on specific date, another broken save...

I have, again, a game where I can't past the first preseason game, the game is crashing every times I try to sim from September 21st to September 22nd.

I hope you have a solution to fix, or explain me how I may fix my save. I had a bunch of savegames broken like this, it's annoying to restart over and over and hoping that the game will not crash with an almost unrecoverable issue at some point.

Despite the fact that I like FHM and the dev team behind it, at the moment, my review will be negative on steam.

Looks like the problem is a roster issue with your farm team. Three NHL-contracted players - Vincent (G), Smart (LW), and Lanskail (RW) were called up from junior in late June. That's not necessary, junior players with contracts will be automatically returned on July 1. And it looks like the automatic return broke something since they were already up; it somehow placed them on your farm team, but with a broken roster status that allows the AI to dress them, but not actually put them in a line (or goalie spot), so the lineup can't be completed and the game crashes when played.

The fix is easy, though: go to Player Edit for each player, and click on Save (you don't need to change anything). Then go to the Lacolle roster screen and hit AI Setup Menu from the action menu, and check the Lines screen to make sure all 3 spots on each forward line and both goalie spots now have a name in them (a spot will be blank if one of those players still has the problem.) It should be safe to continue after that.

Well, that worked :) Maybe I had the same issue with my other savegames because it's not the first time I'm doing that process.

I have a bunch of junior signed players that plays their years in junior (Vincent, Lanskail and Smart are some of them). The day after the draft, these junior players are called up to the NHL team, my contracted players went from about 48/50 to 57/50. I returned these players to junior on June 23rd because the game don't let me continue until I hit the 50/50 contracts. In fact, that was a contract limit move until some players become free agents.

On June 24th, some of these players was called up again, I had to sent them down again.

On July 1st, once I only have 40 contracted players, I want these players back.. :) I'm able to get back to Lacolle my junior aged players if I go in the player profile because the game let me do. It's what I did for Vincent, Lanskail and Smart.

It looks like there is potentially 2 bugs that might brought the farm team roster issue I had.
- Why, on June 24th, some of the players I sent back to junior are called up again? Actually, it's not a big issue for me, I just had to send back these players again.
- The game let me call back the junior players from the player profile to put them in my farm team, but it's the only screen where it's possible to do this (for example, in attachment, Buddy_Smart screenshots). If the option should not be here, maybe I did something the game wasn't intended to do. :)

Yeah, the June 24th thing is going to cause roster problems. I'm trying to remember why we did that, might've been an issue with players being released from their junior teams if they were overaged and we waited until July 1, but I'll check on it, we'll have to do that another way.

I think being able to send them to the farm team if you call them up after their junior season ends is intended, but something's clearly getting broken with the roster status when you do it.
