Heroes & Legends - the 1st FHM2 Historical League!
 

Now that the first FHM2 historical online league has officially been christened, I wanted to create a sign-up & info thread specifically for this league.

The league is starting with the 1972-73 season. Approximately 5 openings remain.

NOTE: If you are signing up, you need to PM me your information for the league website/forum: your name, desired username, email address and optionally a password (or I will give you a temp).

I will update this thread as teams are claimed. OOTP board usernames will be used where they are available (I have some guys who are members of my site but may not have OOTP accounts):

* indicates team does not survive to 1979-80 NHL/WHA merger and is therefore ineligible to be a GM's primary team. Blue indicates a GM's secondary team (these are teams that eventually fold).

Yeah, I end up getting a ton of spammers signing up when I have registration on and rather than dealing with the hassle of countermeasures I just register people myself.

NOTE: I did set up Duranium, so this is really more for anyone else posting here. I won't reserve teams for people until I have them registered (just a safeguard).

Well My first choice would be the St Louis Blues who for some reason isn't listed :ohmy:


edit: it also seems the Canucks are Missing, That will cause Riots in Vancouver LOL

It does - you're all set. I received and replied to your PM.

Six teams have yet to have a GM officially claim them. I have one guy on my site who wants a team but hasn't picked yet. We have two WHA and four NHL teams still needing a GM.

Five spots open - Atlanta, LA & Pittsburgh in the NHL and Alberta (Edmonton) and Quebec in the WHA.

Still looking for GMs for:

Flames, Penguins, Oilers & Nordiques

Down to just the Flames, Penguins and Nordiques.

The plan is to start next week. I am working on getting the league file ready by adding real staff. I will also create the WHA jerseys since I think Hockey13Playa is going to finish the NHL stuff first (and still has about 30 seasons to go). His stuff is definitely better, so we'll switch over when he gets the WHA finished.

Two spots left - Flames & Penguins.

Penguins have been claimed.

We are down to just the Flames being available.

Ideally we will be starting this week - hopefully with a full slate of GMs.

The league is now full! Thanks to all who signed up and also those who checked it out and may be lurking in the weeds to sign up later...

I will work on finishing up the league file with the goal of having it done by the end of the week.

Had a dropout, so the Quebec Nordiques are available. We haven't started yet, but will be very soon so if you want to get in at the very beginning, now is the time!
