The Game Presents: Captain Walrus All Timers League 2019 Version
I am in the process of recreating Captain Walrus' All Timers League. this will take time, so not sure when the quickstart will be available.
I am using all modern teams with their best/ favorite players. All teams that either exited prior to 1960 or were in another city are also represented. 1 pre 1900 team. 1 Negro league team.1961 is my cut off, although the Browns cutoff is 1953. Nationals will the expos but will include great Nationals players. I'll post some screenshots for each team as i do them. |

i might have to combine the Ray & D'Backs and the Rockie & Marlins. CW had a journeyman team, i might have to do it that way as well.

Help
I can put together roster names as I am very familiar with baseball history and top players for each franchise .I just need your parameters There are some great players that played a number of years with two teams ,are you looking for the best season or seasons from thier career with a team or the number of years played? Tris Speaker, Joe Jackson, Jimmy Foxx are examples. Also I am not tech savvy but if you give me instructions on a text file I can take a wack at it

1900-1960 would be say the Highlanders, Americans & Browns. 1961-2018 are the Yankees, Red Sox & Orioles. Browns would of course stop in 1953. Players that played for multiple teams would be the team they are most well known for so Boggs & Clemens would be Red Sox. David wells i tend to put on Yankees vs Reds. Do your best job, i can always ,make changes. If they started their career with that team use their rookie season. If they started later on use that season. Sosa while started with texas in 1989 didn;t go to the Cubs until 1992, so thats the year i would use. See the attached white Sox team. Abbreviation for Americans is BSA, NYH - Highlanders & of course Browns are SLB, Leave Tampa alone for now. |
All time quickstart
Check the All Time Quickstart included with game, I updated it with expanded rosters this last year. It has all current franchises with historic teams rolled into them.
This should help you fill out your rosters although I play balanced by putting key players on teams they may have only played one season for....Jose Canseco on Tampa for example. Coop |
The one that comes with Game is missing like Chris Sale on Red Sox and so on active guys.
|
He is on the White Sox...
|
Thanks and he did win a World Series with Red Sox.
