It would be great if 6.5 and ITP could be made free. Especially ITP, I downloaded the demo today and would love to keep playing, but I'm not going to pay for such an old game.

I forgot all about the relationship status, girlfriend thing.

Quite a walk down memory lane you gave us there...

I played every version of it, including:

Oh gosh..I had Season Ticket Baseball. Wasn't really impressed honestly, haha. Thankfully it's gotten a LOT better. Glad I gave it a second chance for OOTP 14. Bought it ever since.

This should be put on a wall on the website. An outstanding collage.

I started playing with v2 and I've never won the world series. I don't cheat the AI with trades and impose some strict "house rules" - but that's just window dressing for how terrible of a manager/GM I am. Thanks for years of fun Markus!

This was awesome - thank you for putting this together. Man I loved playing v4!

I had completely forgot about ITP, wonder why he stopped producing that I enjoyed it when I tried it. Must not have been as popular?

I came on board with v4. But 6.51 was the one I got the most play from. The best for online leagues. Had a couple of online leagues that played for a long time on that version.

As in ... never? From OOTP V2 through to OOTP 16? How many seasons have you played?

I'm assuming you're one of those who plays out every game and only gets in a season or two each version ... At least I hope so, or else that's some epic futility if you've played 10+ seasons with each version but never won

Great ride through the years - I guess we tend to forget the changes and improvements over this time ...

Great job !

Oh gosh... can you imagine I essentially did all the coding and all the graphics design by myself up until OOTP 4? I wonder how anyone could have bought those weird looking games back then, hahaha :D

Assos 02-29-2016 11:47 AM

Weird? Those were state of the art back in the day!

You put out an awesome product.
Baseball fans wanted it.
While other sports video gaming companies have rested on their laurels, ex. EA, YOU didn't.
You just wanted to make a great game even better.
And with the money you made from your previous versions, you put it right back into your product.
That's why OOTP succeeds, where others do not.:):D
