Request: Historical English and or British name files

I'm looking to create a baseball league in England starting around 1900, although I'm toying with the idea of starting it earlier (1880-ish). One of the problems I'm encountering is that I don't have the proper name files to make such a league convincing. Yes, I can create my own, but I'm hoping...praying, actually, that some enterprising soul has already created these files and save me a ton of work & research.:)

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure what you mean by "proper" name files. Both Questdog and I have modified English (20) namesets - they're posted in this forum. If you want a set of first names that are appropriate for 1880s England, check out chucksabr's nameset here.

What I meant by "proper" is that the default name set for England leaves a lot to be desired for modern England, let alone trying to apply it to the late-Victorian period.

At any rate, thanks for the link. I spent almost an hour searching before I posted my request and I still managed to miss that thread somehow. Thanks!
