Why Can't I See A Player's Cap Hit?
If I'm looking at the league-wide trading block from the NHL Front Office screen, the cap hit for everyone except players that I added from my team are listed as $0.
They all have a cap hit, so why isn't it listed? This is the same problem I run into when attempting a trade. When I look through the roster list of another team from the trading screen all of the cap hits are listed as $0. It's a real pain to click on each player and then the player's contract tab to find that information. Is there something I'm missing here? Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
And it would be good to change them in non-NHL leagues where you still have "cap hit", and not salary

It's a problem with the scope of the screen - basically, cap hit as viewed on that screen can only show the hit from your perspective, i.e. $0 since they're not costing your team anything. I'll see if there's a way to change it, but if I remember right it wasn't an easy fix the last time it came up.

Thank you very much for taking a look at that for me. Being able to see other player's cap hit would make it so much easier to deal with roster management/team building. |
