What is Sandbox mode?
 
Not sure I understand what it is?

Sandbox is the same style of gameplay as Path To Glory with more customization available - you can play in Commissioner mode and edit the league's setup and rules, you can edit players behind-the-scenes attributes/contracts.

Yes. The biggest difference between Sandbox and Path to Glory is you can't earn Achievements in Sandbox, you have access to Commissioner Mode, and the mode can go on forever, unlike PtG, which will end at 25-30 years.

yes, but if you do a custom league you are restriced only to the current roster. (no historical ones)

You can play PtG forever as well, you just need to create a new GM/Coach (your original one retires). But the game world is still the same. :)
