WOW More Ripoffs from MLB.TV
I logged into watch an archived game today for the heck of it and I kept getting this message telling me to buy the Offseason Package. I thought that was weird since I had All Access and last year the auto renew (another bone of contention) didn't kick in until Spring Training so my subscriptions shouldn't have expired.
Anyways, I go check my e-mail that I registered for the service and notice on Nov 29 they sent me an e-mail saying my subscription had ended and if I wanted to watch any games, I was going to have to pay the $14.99 offseason package. First off, isn't $100 good enough for 12 months of access? MLB, don't you make enough money that you don't have to artificially create an Offseason Package, effectively turning our 12 month subscription into an eight month subscription? Second, what happened to the auto-renewal? Is this going to magically kick in in March or April, despite denying me access all Winter? Signed Very Annoyed. |
Well, now you know who's paying for Gil Meche.

I thought it was tacky as well...

well, someone has to pay the salary for the new MLB.com score keepers at every stadium
:shifty: |
I would boycott the service from now on.

I use it because I travel a lot....and they don't show too many Jays games in the US.

XM radio would be an option to look into.
It works about ~75 miles into Canada |
Yeah but the majority of time I used MLB.TV, I'm not in Canada.

TSN sucks unless you like hockey or strongman contests. Rogers are the only station that show decent baseball. The Jays obsession really pisses me off. Even when the Expo's were still here, it was always JAYS JAYS JAYS... expos... JAYS JAYS JAYS!
