Vegas seems to think so. They have the Lakers as favorites but that is being driven by people putting money on LA.

You could talk me into 12-15 different teams for the 2019-2020 title.

Hawks get Pelicans/Lakers #4 pick. Orleans gets #8, 17 & 35 from Atlanta.

Zion and Ja go #1 and #2 as expected. Now the Knicks are almost certain to draft Barrett who has a more than decent chance of being another major disappointment for this inept franchise.

Rejoice if your team selects Gonzaga's Brandon Clarke. Outside of the top two, he's the most likely remaining talent to have at a bare minimum a good NBA career.

Groan in despair if the idjits in your team's front office waste a lottery pick on Duke's massive underachiever, Cam Reddish.

Other players I'd be delighted to see drafted by the Mavs.....

Bol Bol
Matisse Thybulle
Jaxson Hayes
Dylan Windler
Shamorie Ponds
CJ Massinburg
Goga Bitadze
John Konchar
Chuma Okeke
Jarrett Culver

That last one is a fantasy for Dallas. He'll be long gone by their pick.

Hawks with another blunder. Last year they swapped Luka for Trae and now they give up assets to move up to #4 and New Orleans get a player at #8 , Jaxson Hayes, with more upside than Hunter. Bleah.

I can only agree :(

Could be worse, could be the Suns taking a player 20 spots ahead of where he was evaluated.

I think the Suns have done well in nabbing Culver and Johnson. The latter is a deluxe shooter and Culver has a nice, well-rounded game. The Hawks draft is a dumpster fire.

New Orleans followed up Zion with another splendid pick in Jaxson Hayes. The Pelicans are going to win a lot of games and be a helluva entertaining team next season.

Some oddball picks have handed Brandon Clarke to the Celtics on a golden platter. Will they be wise enough to snap him up though? He'd be a splendid fit for that roster.

darkhorse 06-20-2019 09:10 PM

Celtics take Romeo. Uggh!

Spurs will sh*t themselves, if Clarke is still available at #19.

I don't have a clue who is Luka Samanic but when the Spurs like an international player then it's usually an excellent pick.

Nice stretch forward who can handle the ball as well as moves well off the ball. Also a good rebounder.
Not a great shooter but the Spurs have a good factory to turn players into good shooters.

Never thought Cam Johnson would get selected before Nas Little. Someone must have picture of Nas w/a crack pipe.

rudel.dietrich 06-20-2019 10:06 PM

It will be interesting to see how Darius Bazley plays out. He was a highly vaunted HS prospect and I saw him as far down and udrafted in December. He shot up in the draft.

rudel.dietrich 06-20-2019 10:10 PM

Glad the Suns finally got their PG. I think Ty Jerome could be another Malcom Brogdon.

darkhorse 06-20-2019 11:48 PM

I'm flabbergasted that we're this deep in the 2nd round and Bol Bol is still on the board.

Terrific draft for the Griz grabbing Morant and Brandon Clarke in the 1st round.

Teams got his medicals and were scared away. Like seriously concerned.
