GAME 1 VICTORY!!! Flyers start off their young season with a 2-0 Victory over the Oakland Seal! So needless to say....we sucked....Injuries hit us hard and the team just could not find a groove. Thought our defense would hold but we ended up losing Pat Stapleton for good chunk of the season and Bill Hicke as well(Was our best forward)... Larry Keenan was our leading scorer with 20 Goals and 21 assists. Guy Lapointe should add some talent to our blueline while Ron Snell will provide some immediate support to the forwards. |
So we're into February of the 1968-69 season and we're doing better than last season....then this happens
