Ootp go
Did they take down the pin for ootpgo?
I guess it was too good to be true.... |
Unfortunately yes. Like you, I miss MLB Manager. But OOTP Go was going to offer much more. Last I heard, we will be lucky if OOTP Go will be ready by the post season if at all. :(

Maybe they overreached with the "full feature" description. I would have been happy just with the added ability to check PT game scores and standings during the day.

The most recent words Markus has said about OOTP Go was here - http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=302315
If there is any further update, it will either be in the first post of that particular thread, or will be in a newly created & pinned thread. I assume the old thread was unpinned to unclutter the top of the forum |
Until OOTP Go
Would it be possible to put a roster purchase for the 2019 season up in the Buy Seasons section of the last edition? Free money and wouldn’t take too long...

Why?
Why would all that be necessary? You just update the roster file. Why wouldn’t they already have the licensing?
|
Every OOTP game has to be licensed anew with MLB and MLBPA and whoever the heck else, which is why from time to time OOTPD runs up quite close to the OOTP release day without the ability to show screenshots of the game, because it is still all unlicensed at that point.
Expecting one license to cover them forever is akin to expecting one green light allowing you to run across any junction without braking forever. The world does not work that way. |

Take every deadline they give us, multiply the time between now and then by 3... that’s when it’ll be ready..
