No available jobs
 

When I am unemployed, I never see any team in the Available Jobs section, not even when I am offered a job.
Surely the team offering me the post should be listed there?

Is there any chance to apply for a specific job, instead of waiting for a random call from a team you wouldn't touch with a ice hockey stick?

I'm assuming your in Path to Glory? If not, you can turn on Commissioner mode and grab a job.

Otherwise, it can take a while for a correct job to open for you. Your experience can help and hinder you. I know in one of my saves it took almost 2 years for a job to become available. Hockey coaches don't flip jobs at a crazy rate, so you unfortunately just have to wait it out.

I can say that in the time I've played, I don't think I've ever seen jobs appear in the list unless I use commissioner mode. Even when I've been offered positions a couple times for teams, they weren't listed on the available job page. It's a lot different from how OOTP works where a list of teams who you could work for are there, regardless of if they have an opening. Which at times is a bit troubling because I'd like seeing what's out there at least.
