International Amateur FA Pool - Only 15% Pitchers?

I am seeing only about 15% of the players being generated for the International Amateur FA pool being pitchers. Is this by design? That rate seems to be very low. For comparison it seems that C's are being generated at the exact same rate.

I don't use a draft so am wondering if this is going to hurt my league long-term. I do also use Scouting Discoveries...and those are harder to track as far as the percentages go.

I had a thought that this may be because I was originally creating leagues in the 1800's (but with modern rosters and statistics). However, I am seeing the same results in modern years.

This is designed so it more or less matches real life. Far more hitters get the bigger money bonuses as IAFA's than pitchers. Most years, the top 30 lists will only feature something like 3-5 pitchers.

The scouting discoveries who autosign with your team are much more of a 50-50 split, again to match rl numbers.

The problem with this setup, of course, comes when there are more scouting discoveries than IAFAs or vice versa.

FYI, it would be awesome if we could control the balance here. I would like to use IFA's/Scouting Discoveries to completely supply my leagues, but that definitely throws off the balance of talent down the road because of how it is implemented.
