Invalid database version

When I press "Continue Game" I get a message saying 'Invalid Database Version!'

I started a new game, but because of my screen issue I couldn't get past the league selection screen. So I closed the game via task manager, fixed my screen issue, opened it up and pressed continue. It crashed. I opened it again, and then got that message.

You quit the game without finishing the create process. Please start a new, fresh game.
