Spud Davis No all-star game appearences for Spud, because with the exception of a few seasons he was used in a platoon role, but This Guy Could HITt!! He had ten .300 seasons, but only three of them with at least 375 at bats and he finished with a .308 career batting average. He played 16 years in the majors (1928-41 and 1944-45).
