Do MLB Live Card ratings rollover into the following year? Or do the ratings lock at the end of their current season and stay that way?

They're locked from the day they're created. The number on the card will always be the number on the card.


It's PT 20 that has real-time MLB LIVE ratings, not PT 19.

I thought the MLB 19 cards went up and down throughout the year with updates in accordance to the real life stats? They even say + or - what they have gone up or down or am I seeing things?

I have never even seen any PT20 cards. They all say MLB 19 live.

You see that indicator in PT20, but not PT19. Cards don't change in PT19.

EDIT: If your launch screen says OOTP20, you are playing what we are calling PT20. In PT20, the MLB Live cards do change and they change based on the stats from the current 2019 season.

Yep, MLB Live cards in PT 2.0 (OOTP20) go up and down (this is the forum for PT 1.0, btw, in which the live cards didn't do that). I'm not sure if the ratings will lock at the end of the 2019 season. My guess is yes, as PT 3.0 will come out in 2020, but that's only a guess :)
