Seals Franchise
 

Decided to start as the expansion Oakland Seals in Historical mode. I allowed myself to redraft (and didn't trade every first rounder to Montreal). Able to draft Clarke, Robinson and Gainey among others.

Also decided to let FHM run development on players rather than reflecting real world performance. Goaltender Wayne Stephenson (who?) has been a 4.5 or 5.0 star goalie for me - no editing honest.

Won the last 2 cups in 74 and 75. About to start 75-76 season.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the Minnesota merger.

Also noted the WHA was not able to sign any quality players?

Well finished the Seals / Barons franchise.

Seals won the Cup in their last 3 years and sold out the newly expanded arena every year.

Still my greedy owner wanted to move to Cleveland.

Won the cup in my first year there (4 peat) but couldn't do it in the final season, losing in the first round (Wayne Stephenson had dropped to 3 star, still recorded 11 shut-outs and retired at seasons end.

Cleveland led the league in attendance both years selling out Richfield Coliseum (18,000+).

Franchise folded at year end and there was no merger process with the North Stars, so Clarke, Gainey, Robinson et al are free agents.
