Updated franchise - Offseason start
 

I have created a fully updated franchise/saved game file ready to download. It starts at the very beginning of the offseason (so early November 2018).

What's included:
- Every trade from the 2018 season, completed on the day they actually happened
- Every waiver claim and free agent signing, again on the day it actually happened
- A vast majority of the injuries updated, and also suspensions (so Cano missed 50 games, Sale missed time at the end of the season etc)
- Players from the first 10 rounds or so of the draft in June on their correct teams
- The offseason moves so far are updated (up to Donaldson signing for the Braves)
- Updated coaches and GM changes
- Correct all star game rosters
- Correct end of season award winners

What's not included:
- Player stats are not as real life
- Standings are not correct, but are pretty close to real life

To use this file, simply extract the contents of the rar file to your saved games folder here:

Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 19\saved_games

..and then simply load as you normally would for any saved game.

Also, would there be interest in modifying this to include real life stats? It would take me a few hours to update.

Do you mind if I ask questions here as I get into this games?
First question would be, Byrce Harper doesn't show up as a FA?

Never mind I figured it out, game starts before FAs declare!:o

Machado/Dozier are Free-Agents so Harper should be one. Also Chavez not on Rangers.

I honestly would not have included logos, uniforms, or player pictures to cut down on the size of the download.

Any guys who are eligible to receive a qualifying offer are still on their teams so that you can choose whether to offer it or not still. The guys who aren't, like Manny Machado, are already in the FA pool.

And Chavez signed the day after I uploaded it, and my crystal ball is currently not working :laugh:

problem. Neil Huntington and Bob Nutting are still with the pirates. Oh. wait. Nevermind that is still a problem in real life too

A couple questions. Is there a way to mod in the stats and standings/playoff results? If so, I might have time to do that myself.

2) Is it just MLB that is included or are international leagues in this too?

Also, can anyone upload this in .zip form? Im on mac and cant open .rar

MLB plus some Korean leagues.

But I have a couple of issues with this save. Seems that although I am the only manager listed, the database says there are 2 human managers.

The other issue I am having is that I have simmed forward to January 2nd, and the AI made a couple of trades for my team that I did not authorize, and it keeps offering FA contracts, despite the fact that I keep withdrawing them.

Also like Ben Zobrist,Jeff Mathis,Sabathia,Pujols,Markaisis,Holiday retired.

Check your options that you do not have 'do not disturbed' ticked. This will enable AI to make moves when simming.

Thanks for the tip, but I never enable that option.

Someone be a hero and make this a zip. My tablet won't let me unzip it because it is to big :(

I think this question got overlooked and I'd love to see updated stats. As a Mets guy my team is terrible... but not in this save and that is wrong LOL.

Never fear though, they became terrible shortly after I loaded the save file.

Anyways, I would love an update stats roster from the end of the season (or just on this file, whatever).

Can someone please explain how i get this download to work in my game? I am new to this and dont understand the file types and folders and such. So keep it in real simple terms... Thanks
