Help with Korean Universities
 

Hi,
I am trying to put together a list of Korean Universities, however I don't read Korean :p. I was able to find this site , and with the help of Google created the attached list. Would someone be able to help? I would like to confirm the following:
* Looks like this site might be for Softball; is it still close enough? Or, is there a better website?
* Are the schools all in a single conference, or broken up (as in Japan or the US)?
* Finally, I have no idea how to rate these schools. Could someone help with assigning level (how good) and frequency (how many players go pro)?

Anyone able to help on this? If so we can get the correctly Korean Universities into OOTP officially.

Also, if anyone has an English language list of high schools in Korea (and Japan as well if possible) that play baseball, please send me a copy if you would, so we can try to get those into the game next year.

I just checked and there is a Wikipedia page for the Japan high school tournament...Japanese high school baseball championship is the page title
It lists all 49 final competing schools from 2018 inc name, city, times at championship to differentiate the top ones.
Page also has a list of all the winners since at least 1980.

That high school championship is quite the thing. It’s huge. Massive tv coverage.
Anyway thought you should know at least that is there to start with.

Yes, that is the site I used to compile my list. What I was unsure of was if this was for University-level baseball or softball, and also a general idea of how to rank the schools (ie, which ones are the best, or send the most players into the KBL).

I ended up adding your list as is basically for now. We can tweak the distributions any time, ut at least we have the schools in now. Since there are so few schools overall compared to US or Japanese schools, I think a flat distribution with each school having the same level of play actually makes sense.

Do you want to take a crack at adding the high schools from that site as well?

Sure... though I may need some time to get though it. Maybe a few weeks?
