Help! Lost power at house, now I get a runtime error...
 

We had a storm system come through last night. I had the game running, but I had just completed a game save less than 5 minutes prior. I did not have any active ballgames going on.

We lost power. Now I cannot continue my league. When loading the game, I get a runtime error similar to ones I've seen in other threads. I tried the fix suggested by Bowtie (making a test.lg league, copying and pasting .dat files, etc.), and it did not work.

I have yet to delete the faces.dat file, or anything else for that matter. Does anyone know what might be the issue?

UPDATE: Using the test.lg game to double-check, the problem is definitely corruption in the faces.dat file. If I delete faces.dat, the game will load, but I'm trying to find a way not to lose my face data. I did backup this game 1 day ago and can revert there if needed, but will that help without endangering my game?
