Newbie help for PT?
 

Hey guys -

Just started playing Perfect Team last night on a whim and I totally get it. What fun! However, I had a question about why some of these low overall players are going for quite in an auction. I put a Preacher Rowe Unsung Heroes card and it's going for much more than the quick 5 PP I was originally going to flip it for (the overall is like 51). Being new here, I'm curious if there are hidden bonuses at work? Do these cards become special later on? Am I screwing up by selling them? Would love some newbie help!

They are iron but have a low droprate so supply is limited...driving up the price for people trying to build collections

Hey I guess that's what I'd love to know. So people just collect these digital cards on their rosters? Do they ever come into play in Perfect Team? Is it just a personal preference to say "I'll collect all Expos"? Does the game use these special tags in any special way: "Unsung Heroes" or "One Hit Wonders"?

At the moment it's pretty much left to the discretion of each player - lots of people like to set a theme for their team, just like you said, of all Expos players for example.


Down the line there will be collection missions that will give special rewards for completing the sets, but those are not implemented yet (although the tab in the game interface says "collections and missions).

Iron Unsung Heroes have a very low drop rate outside of the initial packs people get when creating their teams. So they can sell for quite a lot.
