Summer of 49'
 

Hi all,

I ran a successful historical online league between 2003 and 2013 covering a lot of history. The league ran from 1949 season up to 1992.

I am now looking to reboot that franchise and I am looking for engaged mature GMs who will be looking to stick around and run a quality franchise. Looking for respectful conduct and help make this a fun enjoyable league!

I am hoping the league will expand at points along MLB history so you will have opportunities to join later if you miss the cut.

Not sure if I will start with an inaugural draft or not. TBD.

The league will start with the 16 MLB franchises from the year 1949.

Already have spots filled with original members! With 9 spots filled, we have openings for 7 GMs!

Was that the league started by Nathan (I believe that was his first name)? I believe his username here was The Professor or something like that. Its one of the first leagues I remember around v2/3.

Yeah it was Nate that started it and I took over commish duties and ran it for a number of years. Now I am ready to reboot it!

Did you decide on a draft or not? Also what will be the sim schedule?

I put the draft up as a poll in Slack and so far people like the idea because it allows everyone to shape their teams instead of starting with strong or weak teams. A fresh start so to speak.

I am thinking it best to go with a 3 sim per week schedule (1 week per sim) which I believe is a more popular schedule.
