MLB Manager 2019?

I was just wondering if there's any news on it. I just got a new phone and I don't wanna buy it because of how close we are to opening day.

Essentially, MLB Manager is being replaced by a new product that will be released in mid to late Summer.

Wondering how MLB 2019 (or whatever the new name is) is coming along.
Is there a release date?

Rich Gresham on FB: "we HOPE to have it out by the end of the year".

Theyll end up touting it with ootp21

Huge tease for the mobile guys.... as always

What a waste of season. I guess the amount of potential sales from a simple update and UI refresh to MLB 2018 to release a MLB 2019 wouldn't be worth the amount of work this year?

I'm sure the new mobile game will incorporate the mobile-popular card collecting, random players thrown together, try-to-get-your-money tactics, and the such. That market is flooded on mobile. We don't need more sports card collecting mash up teams. And I at least hope this next release in the mobile series will have an option to play the premium management game as well.

And if it does, it probably should have just released an updated 2018 at the beginning of this season to get a little bit of revenue instead of nothing for this whole season.

They had a great mobile game, IOOTP or MLB or whatever they called it.
Putting it out at the all star break seemed bad, but shelving it is a real loss.
Nothing like it that I know of, a mobile text-like sim of real players in any of the 4 American sports.

Any update on this?

I've been patiently waiting for the new mobile game. It makes my daily train commute infinitely better!

I highly recommend Pro Strategy Football for NFL/Editable Leagues and a soccer sim called Football Manager Mobile/Touch. Both get yearly releases. Nothing I know of for basketball or hockey on mobile. And MLB Manager 18 is the only good mobile baseball sim I’ve found.

I also recommend Pro Strategy Football. It's not as comprehensive as what you have with MLB Manager (very light on roster management) but it's fun to play and the developer is VERY responsive. Ever since I've discovered it, I haven't played MLB Manager. Disappointing but true.

Thank you

Great suggestions, but also really hope MLB 2020 comes out!

I have been developing an Android game called College Football Coach: Career Edition and it's in play store as well. It's free, no ads, no freemium features.

I also recommend Pro Football GM, Campus Dynasty, Hockey League Manager in Android. All of them, including the one I dev have customizable importable rosters and data and are readily available, and free :)

Those are great suggestions for Android users.
Thanks.
