Faceless Wonders
 

Just wondering...why do all the "faceless" cards seem to sell at a premium? As a follow up...will these poor fellows ever get an identity? Will the players shown in former uniforms get updated?

This inquiring mind would like to know.

I believe faceless players are those that OOTP does not have licensing for - thus they will remain faceless... (sounds like a GoT Bravos scenario lol).

I suspect the wrong uniform players will remain the same as well, only because the DevTeam has enough on it's plate at the moment to worry about it.

I do, however, wish we had access to the card graphics so we could add our own photos (hint hint).

I always thought the faceless players would eventually get photos patched in.

Faceless players are new Live players. New players command a premium because the supply is low and some people want to collect all the players.

Bingo. It's all about how new the cards are.

I stand corrected.

The cards sell at a premium because they are new, however, I can't speak to why they don't have pictures. You could easily be right about the lack of rights.
