Dr. P.R. Park III 02-17-2019 07:16 AM

Fleming Park is a perfect example of a potentially awesome generic stadium that can be used by most HS or JuCo teams, or even indie.

Please do a few more generics so that the users have a variety of small, intimate stadiums for amateur ball.

I really dig the personalized D1 stadiums but it's impossible to use those for DII or any other club because of the personalization. Anyway, keep up the great work.

That's probably because I failed to actually put the link in. :(

It is fixed. Auburn Download

The rattiest stadium in OOTP 3D history has the highest potential... Who would have thunk it?

I understand the value of making the stadiums more generic, and may be a project for me in the future. I am not as creative as others, and "need" the realism of using actual locations and teams. It is just the way I play, and why I started this project.

I will say that it is possible to edit the textures that are specific by changing the texture images in the individual stadium's texture folder. As long as you keep the image the same size and name it should show up in the game with a new image. For example, you could take an image named "dugout.png" that says "Texas A&M" change it to an image of the same dimensions that is only Maroon. Then in the game it should just be a maroon top of the dugout instead of saying "Texas A&M."

I have not done this too much myself, but it is a way that someone could take a specific team's stadium, and make it generic (or even specific for a fictional team).

I can confirm that I do that all the time with simple things like the color of the outfield walls, the backdrops behind the walls. You can even take signage out by simply deleting the file. It's easy to do with a simple program like paint.net. Simply open up the corresponding texture, then tweak to your hearts content.

These are all awesome! Thanks for doing these. What program do you use to make them? Thanks.

Gambo 03-11-2019 07:14 PM

These are amazing. I'd love to see you give Columbia's Robertson Field a try with the overhanging football stadium, the Harlem River and a background with the bridge and Big "C".

..

The main program that is used is Sketchup with some help from Gimp (texture creation and editing), SBuilderX (which grabs the ground image), and Google Earth (for Backdrop).

I should have known that someone like you is an Ivy League fan. Let me give this a shot.

Just Note that the "Big C" might not be viewable. I could work it into the model, but during the game it might not be seen. :)

Only when you have time, could you make Furman's Latham Stadium in Greenville, SC. I live in Greenville and have season tickets to their baseball games. I would love to have that stadium. Also at some point maybe the Socon teams, but if not that is totally fine. I truly appreciate these and what you and the other guys are doing with these stadiums.

This one was definitely different from other stadiums. Just for Gambo, I widened the "Overview" view so he can see the Big "C".
