The first day of Spring Training turned out to be a 6-5 win over the Phillies.

Cy Young did not seem ready but the Brooklyn batters sure did! Especially Cale Bernard who went 3 for 4 and knocked in 2 runs.

Sam Crawford went 3 for 5 and scored 3 times while knocking in 2.
