Despite winning the World Series, the Superbas did not rest on their laurels and initial notes have them as one of the most improved teams this offseason.

The Brooklyn defense had some issue stoday but they more than made up for it with their bats. The Superbas hit FOUR home runs today, including two by Pat Moran, one of which was a Grand Slam! Moran had 6 RBI altogether. Th either home runs were by Socks Seybold and Rezaul Ali. They beat the Beaneaters 13-9. 6 of the Boston runs were unearned.
