Schedule Request

I need a schedule running from August 26th to May 15th with no games on weekends. Can anyone do this for me? Also, will the playoffs get pushed back to far?

First, I am not sure if a schedule can span from one calendar year to the next. That would beed to be confirmed.

Assuming that does work, much more information is needed. How many games? How many teams in what configuration?

that might be helpful.

It is an 2 subleage, 8 team leauge with one division per subleage. A 189 game schedule, but without games on weekends if possible.

Based on the timeframe I am assuming (from the American weekend) it should be that all teams always play all days Monday through Friday but are always off on Saturdays and Sundays. Correct?

No interleague games? 189 games would be 27 per opponent without interleague. If there is to be interleague - homw many games?

And of course an odd number of games means uneven total home/away splits for teams. The aim would be 89/90, but it may go to 88/91.

sorry miscounted by one, 190 games. No Sat-Sun, that is right. If you could mix in interleague on a 50-50 basis that would be great. I'm getting 27 games per opponent with interleague, is my math right?

Thank you so much for helping out.

No, without interleague play it would be 25-30 games per opponent (27*7=189).

With interleague play about as common as division play, I would say 10 games per interleague opponent (8*10=80) and 15+ games per division opponent (15*7=105).

I am assuming an even mix of 2-game and 3-game series, one of each every week to cover the 5 weekdays.

Correct

I'm sorry, I think i spoke a little to vauge.4 teams a sub leauge, 8 total in the leauge. I apologize for the inconveniance.

An all-star game on Jan 1 wouldn't be too bad.

sorry gmo, hate to be a burden, but after figuring out how to import the schedule, I noticed that the games go Tuesday through saturday with sunday and mondays off. I have a felling this comes from the fact Aug. 26 is a tuesday. Not sure how you make these schedules.

Under Game Setup >> League Setup >> Options >> Schedule Options...

There should be a line for "Force Start on Certain Weekday".
Make sure the checkbox is checked and the day selected is Monday.

There should be a line for "Auto adjust date if matching XML schedule found".
Make sure the checkbox is checked.
