Jr's Taking Over
 

Used a nameset I got online for a historical league starting in the early 1900's.

After about 15-20 seasons the game is dominated (60+ players each) by several names that are Jr's...names that differ each time I sim ahead and aren't even on the nameset file I downloaded.

Any ideas on what I did or how to fix it?

Did you add the names before you started the game? If not, go to Game -> Game Settings -> Database -> Database Tools -> Re-import name and ethnicity database.

If yes, go to Game -> Game Settings -> Database and ensure that the database folder the game is pulling from is the one you have the file in. Sometimes I've noticed that when OOTP gets a patch, this filepath will change. If you need to change the filepath, you'll have to do the step above afterwards.

If neither of those change anything, you should probably post your names and world_default files so someone can look at them.
