Disabling Free Agency
 
The OOTP Manual says free agency can be disabled from the Game Setup screen or from the League Rules screen, but I don't see it as an option there in the game or the manual. I did try disabling the financial system in my new game; but still the historical teams I added to the league dumped most of their players and restocked from the free agent pool. Am I missing a step, like deleting all players from the free agent pool (and how to do that?).

To disable Free Agency go to League Settings, Financials, left side about mid way, Minimum Service Years for Free Agency, set this to No Free Agency...

To delete players from the Free Agency Pool, League Transactions, Free Agents tab, Available Actions, Delete All Free Agents... You can also just select the box the players names that you want to delete, then right click and select delete...

If you want to disable all player movement, including trades, check the Reserve Clause box under financials.

Turning on the reserve clause does not disable trading.

That is a separate function in league setup.

No function now for turning off Free Agency
 
Hello all. In the current version of OOTP the functions listed for turning off free agency are nowhere to be found. I'm starting in 1927, I want free agents gone.
