Continued Crashing

Hello,

My issue is the following:

For the first time i started a game with the Live Start option selected. The first few days went without issues.

I am now on the 15th of September and whenever i want to progress from that date (no matter if i try playing the game, try real time simulation, moving to the next day or simulating to next week/specific date) the game completely closes.

If the information helps: I am playing with the Boston Red Sox, again the date is 15th of September 2019 and the scheduled game would be against the Phillies.

If this post in located wrongly, i apologize. I couldn't quite find the right place here to ask the question.

Would be great if someone could help me, thank you in advance

One thing I might suggest is deleting or renaming any ".game" file from the replays folder and see if that helps. Please do let us know if that helps or not, and we can see where to go from there.

Where can i find that folder? I looked at the game folder (under steamapps) and couldn't find any with the name replays.

Thanks for the help.

It's in the saved game folder. Best way to find it is from the entry screen, click the settings button at the bottom, and on the last tab there's a button to open the folder with saved game data. From there you should be able to find your league and the replays folder.

Found the folder and tried the suggested solution.

Unfortunately, the game still crashes immediately when trying to advance

I have the same issue. It's on 9/15.

I started the game today based on current live stats and I played a couple games. It won't let me get past 9/15 by Sim or by playing the games.

do you have a bunch of leagues all ending on the 15th? (like all your minors?)

if so, try to stagger that... sometimes it seems like the game is 'not responding' but it really is working, just lots to do.

i notice this because of the way i setup my leagues... all the minors end on the same day, and i think i've even seen 'not responding' in the title before it finishes. lots of processing to do for all 30 teams.

if the game pauses while working, just leave it, don't click, or mess with it.. .tab over to a new window and read the newspaper or something before killing the process.

I posted a reply to a thread in the bug reports, but missed this one.

It seems like the live start might have some issues with scheduling minor league playoffs. I believe the culprit causing the crash is the gulf coast rookie league, so anyone running into issues should either disable tiebreakers for that league (or disable their playoffs entirely) and hopefully that will let you continue.

Thanks for the fix! Where exactly can i turn that off?

FYI we will be issuing a hotfix likely today for this as well. If you want to disable that, go to the league settings, choose the minor league from the dropdown list, and then playoff settings are on the "options" sub-tab.

Thanks a lot!
