Team History - lines repeat
 

In my team history it shows multiple lines for one year of NHL i.e. the year 2021/2022 repeats itself on multiple lines.

Did it do that in previous seasons as well, or just start in this one? I've checked a few test games and can't find it happening in any of them.

It occurred in the 2021/22 season.
It didn't happen in other seasons.

Is there any way I can edit the files myself to correct this?

I checked the other teams and they're ok so it seems to be just a problem with the team that I control.

Even my farm/minor league team does not have the problem.

Unsure if it's reparable or not. Start another one or keep going with this one and how it can be repaired?

Upload it and we'll have a look. But from the screenshot, it may just be a display bug on that one screen and won't affect anything else.

Thanks. It definitely appears to be confined to that one screen, the player histories and your own GM's history are normal. So it's not going to affect anything going forward in the game, other than that screen having incorrect totals. And it doesn't happen again with the following seasons, I ran it forward a few years and only have one line for each of the later years. We'll try to figure out how it happened, but can you tell me a little more about how the game was set up - I see it's a custom game using the NHL and AHL formats, any changes beyond that?

When setting up the new custom league, I changed

- the league name to National Hockey League and abbreviation to NHL,
- I believe I kept everything else the same on that screen (though can't be
entirely 100% sure)
- Draft & Rookie nationalities to Canada 34, USA 33, All Hockey Nations 33
- Ottawa Senators Fans to very loyal, Arena cap to 19,500
- rules - no change
- Farm League - changed name and abbreviation to American Hockey League, AHL
- changed Belleville (AHL) arena cap to 6257. Belleville fans level is now 'loyal' though that might be the default
- Challenge mode - no
- Manager screen - added my name, nationality Canada, 2nd nationality Finnish, cannot be fired
- preferences, GM, coach ratings - unchanged.


I looked at my Career Stats screen as GM/Head Coach and they're ok i.e. no duplication in stats.

I hope this information helps you, and please inform me if you need any other info from me about this problem.

I updated with the latest update, which mentions "-fixed issue that could cause the user's team history to repeat the previous season's results 4 times instead of once".
So it looks like the problem is fixed for the future.

However, unfortunately, I still have the problem.

Is there any way to remove the extra lines on my screen display?

No, unfortunately - it won't happen again, but if it's already there it's not possible to edit it out.
