1992-93 Historic - No draft?
 

Took over Tampa for their inaugural season and realized there is no entry draft. goes straight from playoffs to free agent file. Click on edit teams and they have no Picks that can be swapped. Is this a bug or am i setting something up wrong?

In Historical Expansion years, the draft is moved to about July 10th so the expansion team can participate.

Seems like you did not check the box at game creation to have the rookies be in the game at age 17. If you don't check that box, each team will receive the players they had drafted in real life instead of recreating history by having the team draft perhaps a better selection.

The name of that option is extremely confusing. It might be a good idea from a dev standpoint to revisit how it's called to avoid confusion such as this in the future.

Helpful tip and still-needed re-write of that option name as it is unclear on it's face what it does. With so few options at start-up, slightly more robust on-screen explanations seem reasonable. (Just purchased the Hockey sim for the first time)
