Now, it's time for me to turn my attention to BOSI unless anyone finds anything else wrong :)

Can someone explain what this does? Never understood exporters? Is it for online leagues only?

It takes the data from OOTP and puts it into files that can be read by any text editor. You can use it to look at data, preferably using a spreadsheet program. 3rd party utility makers can use it to make programs that uses the data (like BOSI and CATO).

Great Job!

It has been updated to fix a bug in the career exporter (first season wasn't coming out), and some issues with the player exporter.

CRTsports.com 11-25-2004 06:07 PM

This is my first time using BOSI for my league and I downloaded the exporter and I need some help with editing it:

player.exe "c:\temp" "c:\temp"
teams.exe "c:\temp" "c:\temp"
schedule.exe "c:\temp" "c:\temp"
pause

I just cant seem to figure out what I need to type in to replace the "temp" part. I understand how to do it, I just cant seem to figure out what exactly needs to go there. Help please!!! ;)

If anyone could give me a detailed explanation it would be great.

The first parameter (or first "C:\temp") is the location of your league. ie: "C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP 6\Whatever.lg"

The second parameter (or second "C:\temp") is the location you would like to put the output (the CSV files). This can be any directory.

Hope this helps.

Is this posted anywhere else, as this website appears to be down?

Thanks

You have this available anywhere, and does it work with 6.5?
