Keep team?

When the new edition comes out will we be able to carry our career over? I have played over 50 seasons with this great Dr waiting game and would hate to lose my history. 😁

My understanding is that the new version will be so different that we will not be able to do so. Caveat: I'm not associated at all with the company.
