Rules : Have one FTP account at release (or whenever you join up pre-All Star break). Have a second FTP account start during All-Star Break. You MAY use two accounts in the same tournament after you acquire your second account.

I'm going FTP this year, so I thought I'd make a cool challenge to spice things up a bit. Just reply to this thread to join, then update us on your progress and I'll enter it into the first post. Screenshots of tourney wins/collection completions are appreciated, but we're working under the honor system here.

I figure Perfect is impossible, but maybe someone will prove me wrong. I'm shooting for Diamond.

I'll probably tweak the numbers for tournament wins a bit once I see the schedule. (I didn't, numbers are good)

This will run through the release of OOTP Perfect Team 22.

To achieve any particular rank, you must complete ALL tasks.

You can either make a new account or transfer an old one. So for the pre-All Star part of the season you will have 3 teams total. Once All Star Break hits, you can make a new account or transfer an old one. So for the remainder of the season you will have 6 teams total. The Completion % is based on collections across all 6 teams. Same goes for tourney wins.

I don't care if you have a separate PTP account, so long as your FTP accounts gain no outside benefit.

I'd like to propose an amendment to this...those returning players can use their PT 20 usernames + the 3 PT 21 teams you get with the order.

Thus, it could be a better idea to use 1 of the PT 20 usernames which carry over as well as a fresh PT 21 username, which is what I will do.

However you'd like to do it. Just make sure your second FTP account doesn't start until All-Star break. Nice to have you Magus!

In that case, I won't use the pack-only for the second team. I'll wait until then to decide what that'll be :D

Needless to say, making the Perfect playoffs with a F2P team in the 1-Perfect-League format will be nigh-impossible without either serious AH flipping ElementalKnight style or selling a ridiculously valuable packed card. I'm only running the one BFF team which discourages the first method and forbids the second, so it'll probably be actually impossible. The Silver tier is probably doable, though it's not totally distinguishable from the Bronze tier (if you get Bronze, Silver is probably a matter of time).

That's good feedback, I'm going to tweak things based on this. I want the Perfect level to be basically impossible. I want Diamond to be possible but very difficult. I figured making Perfect league playoffs would be possible late in the season, but maybe I'm underestimating the difficulty. The final rule-set is definitely still open for discussion.

Today is Beta day! I've got my first account set-up and the new cards look awesome. My three teams are Red Bandits, Watermelon Bandits, and Pink Bandits.

I think my starter strategy on Friday will be to grind the hell out of bronze tournaments on all three accounts.

Scratch the grind bronze strat. The plan now is to have one team go iron, one team go bronze, and one team pull a historical perfect and parlay it into a gold team.

Launch day!!! Pulled a nice diamond on Team 1, should be able to turn that into a good silver team.

I don't mind joining, but I only plan on doing just 1 PT (tried 2 teams in OOTP20, but I realized I pretty much never checked the 2nd team).

You're welcome to participate, but the challenge is designed for 3-6 teams!

I got greedy and didn't manage to sell Diamond pull first run, but got 20k pp on the 2nd run. Hoping to turn this into a silver team, but silver is expensive right now!

Edit - Got my first wins today! Bronze 16 and 32, I'm on my way baby.
