MLB 2005 All-In-One Installer Available!

Following the same format as the 2004 installer, I have a 2005 installer now available over at the OOTP Download Center.

It includes:

Halofan's roster set as of 3-13-05
DraftDodger's posed photo set
My MVP Park set
My MLB Logo set

You can download it here.

It's a 51mb file, so you'd be best off with a broadband connection to download it.

Enjoy!

good work now I can rebuild the Pirates back to glory or at least above .500 and try to avoid 13 season below that mark.

eriqjaffe, thanks for the file. But how do you create something like this? I would love to have that program, but only if it's available. I would use this to insert updated roster sets as they come along. Again, thanks.

Draft Dodger 04-01-2005 11:08 AM

very nice

Now my weekend's shot. :D

Well, the components are all created by their various authors (and can be downloaded and set up seperately)...I packaged them using the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System, which is a very flexible tool for creating installers.

As Halofan releases his updates, I update the master installer. If you want to patch the existing install, it should be simple matter of replacing the files in the "2005 MLB for OOTP 6.lg" directory with the ones from Halofans' updates - the exceptions being the Park.dat and Parkconfig.dat files, which I modified prior to release.

I don't really use real players, but this is incredible, Eriq. Well done.

Vris 04-01-2005 11:53 AM

Yes, great job Eriq. Your work on this is incredibly appreciated.

The park factors are Ankit's from last year, with the coordinates modified a bit to fit the new park pictures.

Sweet. As usual, high quality work, Eriq.

I didn't get the chance to say something about MVP stadiums. They look nice!

So now you have switched to Nullsoft Scriptable Install System, eh? It looks quite interesting and I will check it out. Just hope it's not hard to use.

p.s. Did you get my PM & email earlier this week? Just wondering.

We probably wouldn't even have head-to-head play yet!
