Paid Online Leagues - Please Read

We've recently seen a few online leagues that require payment to join pop up here. Typically online leagues for OOTP are free and don't require payment (though they do typically have costs, such as for web hosting services). If you're looking for an online league to join you can find plenty of free to play leagues here and on other sites such as allsimbaseball.com

If you are interested in playing in a cash league please be aware that you do so at your own risk.

OOTP Developments has no objection to pay to play or cash leagues existing. However OOTP Developments are not involved in such leagues at all. Either as a company or as individuals, we do not endorse or recommend any specific paid online league. Nor can we take responsibility for the existence of any leagues that may not be what they claim to be that may recruit on our forums and we cannot offer any sort of compensation to anyone who joins a league that may be less than it claimed to be.

If you are interested in playing in such a league, you should first be sure to do some research on the league to make sure it's legitimate, as you should do with any company or service that asks for payment.

It's worth mentioning that we have not yet heard of any specific leagues that are less than legitimate or heard bad feedback about any specific league. Thus we're not posting here to warn you against a certain specific league or leagues. This is just intended as a general caution to our customers. Because we want your experiences with the game to be positive we want to warn you that there is a potential area of risk here.

We provide these forums as a service to our customers and to make it easier to find a league of whatever type you might be looking for. Just because a league advertises itself on our forums however, that's no guarantee that it is legitimate.

So before you join a paid league, and especially before you pay out any money, please take the time and effort to make sure that you'll be getting what you pay for and won't be getting ripped off. Ask around about the experiences of other players with a certain league and about the reputation of its commissioner and members before you make any payments. If you have any doubts or concerns about a specific league, it's probably better to pass on it and to join a free league instead. Doing so can save you a lot of grief and a loss of money.

We hope all our customers can enjoy their experience with online leagues, paid or free. But please exercise caution and do your own due diligence before joining any league that promises payouts or asks for payments.
